German baritone Michael Volle has stepped in at the last minute to sing the role of Hans Sachs in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg by Richard Wagner. The opera is broadcast on radio stations and in movie theaters all over the world on Saturday. Michael spoke with Angela Mitchell about stamina (the opera is 6 hours long), jet lag, and his favorite intermission snacks.
